I see that the program was just updated.
I am still getting the message but now I can’t clear it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used to be able to clear it but now it shows the new message icon in the notification area and the following message in the message area:

Please make this go away. It pops up with the notification every time I reboot my phone.

I can’t clear the new message icon or the message that I described above.
Every time that I open the program, it adds a new icon to the new message notification area.
I love the program, but will have to get rid of it and sw3itch to Handcent if it isn’t resolved.
When I go into the root directory file I can see this error message:

I too was having the issue with the com.jb.gosms.webbr.advancedfunnn error on GO SMS Pro v4.72 on my Droid 4 running Android 4.0.4. I struggled all day with this trying to get it to go away without a solution.
THEN, I realized that maybe I just need to turn off the phone and restart it.
I did this, and since the phone has powered back on the error has not show up again. I’m crossing my fingers that this has solved the problem.
I have now the new popup, but how do I use the normal popup window?
I am also on Galaxy S3 and just did the update. After I open a message and then click back I am brought back not to my message listing but to an empty page that says:
Oops! No messages history now
(it is so bad that I uninstalled this app!)
It appears it deleted all my messages
Correction: it did not delete my messages but I have to uninstall the app to see my messages in the default messaging app.
Your app have a bug that i think is easy to correct, when you are under the private box messages, if you it the home button, it will leave with no problem, the problem is when you it the app icon again and it brings up the paused version, it opens the private box without require the pin code again.
this is a problem if the person to open the app again isn’t you, leaving the idea of a private box a bit on the air.

There is no more a link to the themes by other theme developers in the Play Store… Why that? Are you really abandoning us?
How do I turn off all these system messages and “update” messages from the Go SMS Team? I can’t unsubscribe to these messages unless I have a chat account and I don’t want to create an account.
Also, on my Thunderbolt if I try to go back into the app it takes me to the last message/person read and not the main listing of messages. Sometimes I can get into the main list but it seems to be hit-or-miss. There should be a clear way to get out of the individual text thread to the main listing.
how do i turn off the new pop up? i cannot find a way to go back to the normal pop up window..

We all hope that next version will support dual sim, but every time its just getting worse, so…
I’m using Samsung Galaxy S Duos, and I can’t choose between SIM1 or SIM2 when messaging. Unlike the original messaging app where I can choose between SIMS for every SMS. I used to have GO SMS Pro on my older phone (Alcatel OT-890D) and the Dual Sim features were fine, I could choose between SIMS for every SMS and all, but that was probably an older version of the app. I’ve researched online and some Dual Sim users have also been experiencing the same inconvenience with this app. I do hope they upgrade and get this fixed soon.
(Hopefully, with numbers, they’ll hear us out)

How to make that contact does not read from SIM memory, and read from the phone? That is, if there is one the same number on the SIM and the phone, then do not display contact pictures. And: My wife had another phone number, then she bought another. In the contacts are connected in one, but SMS shows separately with the old number and the new. DR WEB found in the latest version virus.
Received the notice that another “Update Available”…
this wasn’t a good one! I downloaded the 4.69 update and it made my bedside Smart Dock app stop running… error stated “unfortunately Smart Dock has stopped”… glad I was able to reload the 4.61 version and now everything is back to normal… thanks

I just got the new Motorola Razr M. Used to have a Droid 2 and loved it with GO SMS PRO.
I just installed GO SMS PRO on the Razr and I downloaded a notification sound through Zedge because the stock sounds on the Razr suck. I applied the sound to my SMS notifications through GO and disabled my native SMS program. For some reason the sound is LOUD when notifying me of a SMS received. I tried adjusting the volume under the main volume control in the settings and it doesn’t change anything. How do I fix this?
How can I enable word wrap when sending a text in landscape mode? It is extremely difficult sending a message when you can only see a tiny fraction of it at a time.

All the GO apps are feeling really dated in the era of Ice Cream Sandwich and Jellybean. They were great on gingerbread but are really showing their age. GO SMS needs to shed some unwanted weight (application centre) and focus on being a great SMS app. If people want all the extra crap they will find it in the play store. People want a fast, intuitive app that follows the HOLO design guidelines, not a bunch of extra apps/stores and endless notifications that there is a new (ugly) theme available (as long as you jump through a bunch of getjar bullshit hoops first).
PLEASE REDIRECT YOUR FOCUS ON MAKING A GOOD APP AND PEOPLE WILL DOWNLOAD IT!
Hello, i use Go SMS Pro with GV integration for android, and it worked until the last update. If I update GO SMS, I would have to forgo the GV text messages in GOSMS. Is there an error? I’m using GO SMS version 4.65 on a Rooted galaxy player 4.2 with Gingerbread 2.3.6, and haven’t updated since. Is there a fix to this?

Vibrating is not working even if I have all turn on. I checked device settings and they are turned on too. If I uninstalled GO SMS, vibrating is again working.

Please add:
1/ Remove filter folders
2/ Edit rules for filter folders
3/ Run a filter for a specific folder (do filtering again after restoring from a filter folder)

Trying to send a SMS to a contact group, your app lists all phone numbers for the contacts in that group. i.e home numbers as well as mobiles.
Would be really good if the group contacts would use the default number against the contacts or allow you to set a default within the app, if unable to determine the address books default.
also would like to know how to seach within a text message, can not find out from the help files.
